The City of Moraine is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide inspection and design services for the repair of the concrete bridge deck for the Main Street Bridge over the CSX Railroad in Moraine, OH. The engineering services include inspection and analysis of the existing bridge deck, as well as preparation of signed and stamped construction plans, specifications, and a stamped Engineer's Estimate. Services shall also include any and all necessary coordination/interaction with the CSX Railroad. Project includes the design of a deck end and joint repair/replacement. The bridge currently shows excessive wear, including exposed second layer of reinforcing steel. A concrete overlay of the entire bridge deck by hydro-demolition may be needed. The City may also require construction inspection and engineering in 2026 for this project.
