Renovation of a medical facility in Kitimat, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The work to be undertaken generally includes the following: Interior alterations within the existing Diagnostic Imaging Department to provide a new suite of rooms for the new CT Scanner. Demolish and provide new interior partitions, including lead-leaded walls and doors, and Xray glass for radiation protection. New architectural finishes including flooring, wall protection, suspended ceiling, doors, frames and hardware, and architectural millwork. Mechanical ventilation, fire protection, medical gases and plumbing upgrades. Electrical power, communications, and lighting upgrades. The construction site is required to conform to CSA Z317.13-2022 Infection Control During Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities.
