Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

Scope of Work The project shall in general consist of, but is not limited to replacing the existing 300-gallon steel subbase fuel tank with new double wall 304 Stainless Steel enclosure fuel tank of same capacity. Work generally includes generator testing, furnishing and connecting temporary diesel genset and fuel tank, defueling and removal of existing genset (includes sub-base fuel tank) off site, disposal of old and furnish new stainless steel sub-base fuel tank, refurbishment/painting, reinstallation, refueling, providing and installing interface with BACnet and JCI Metasys; communication cabling and miscellaneous related work, as shown on the Plans and Technical Specifications. The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this IFB is May 21, 2025. All clarification requests shall be submitted via online QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS section, and all responses shall be issued in an addendum. Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Jon Hosaka via E-mail at hosakaj@hawaii.edu no later than May 21, 2025.
