2025 Water Meter Replacement Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. To Engineer Via Email: patc@bannerassociates.com Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Project Scope will include the following but not limited to: o Furnish approximately 469, Neptune T10, 5/8 inch water meters o Furnish approximately 30, Neptune T10, 1 inch water meters o Furnish approximately 6, Neptune Mach 10, 1 1/2 inch water meters o Furnish approximately 4, Neptune Mach 10, 2 inch water meters o Installation of 509, water meters, miscellaneous appurtenances and materials for complete water meter replacement and installation Note to Bidders: The scope of this project is the replacement of water meters in select areas of the City of Milbank to bring those areas up to date with the City's existing system for Automated Meter Reading. The City's existing system utilizes meters, registers, and meter interface units (MIUs) manufactured by Neptune Technology Group. The city intends to maintain continuity in the metering and data collection of water service to users of the distribution system. Therefore, the City has determined Sole Source/Proprietary Product specification of equipment and materials to be supplied on the project is appropriate. Project Specifications and Bidding Documents reference only those products from Neptune Technology Group matching the existing metering and data collection system of the City of Milbank. Requests for approval of Substitute or Or-Equal products will not be considered. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities therein.
