City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for a three-year ground maintenance service contract. For this bid cycle the areas will be broken into two independent bids. Bid 1 and Bid 2 will only include the following locations: 1. Milbank City Cemetery 2. Veterans Memorial & Unity 3. Visitor Center & Flynn Park 4. Lake Farley 5. Pribyl Park 6. Mill Park 7. Water Plant and Reservoir 8. Wastewater Plant 9. Jack & Jill Park 10. Pump House Properties (3), Twin Brooks Area 11. Hurley Park 12. Dog Park Area Specific areas that will be excluded from the bid: 1. Baseball, T-Ball, and Softball Fields @ Pribyl Park 2. Baseball Field @ Lake Farley 3. Campgrounds @ Lake Farley 4. Soccer Field @ Lake Farley The period of the bid is to commence March 1, 2025 and end December 31, 2027. A five percent bid and performance security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft is required with each bid. The successful bidder will have this security draft held by the City until satisfactory completion of the contract requirements. The security draft will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Each bidder shall visit the moving sites and shall completely inform himself relative to the conditions of compliance. All conditions shall be properly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid. There will be no subsequent financial adjustment for lack of prior information. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
