Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Milbank Industrial Park Expansion Project. The envelope should also bear on the outside the name and address of the Bidder. If forwarded by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be sealed in another envelope, with the notation "Bid Enclosed" on the face thereof, and addressed to the City of Milbank, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252. Approximately 72,000 CYD of Unclassified Excavation Approximately 102,000 CYD of Imported Embankment Material Furnish and install approximately 4000 LF of PVC Watermain with associated services and appurtenances Furnish and install approximately 2,300 LF of 10" PVC sanitary sewer with associated services and appurtenances Construct approximately 6,400 LF of curb and gutter Install approximately 9,000 tons of gravel base course Document info : Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one paper copy of Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. Additionally, if a paper copy is provided under the conditions of SDCL 5-18B-1, in consideration of the documents being provided at no charge, unsuccessful bidders agree to return the documents to the Issuing Office within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated websites. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any irregularities therein. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
