Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Washington, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to construct and commission GAC treatment systems within a new treatment building at the Village's Well Nos. 3 & 4 site. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Sands Point, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to readvertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities in any Bid received, accept any proposal which the Village determines to be the Lowest Responsible Bid in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, and accept any proposal which the Village decides to be in the best interest of the Village.
