Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Evanston, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work on this project includes all labor, equipment, and materials for alley improvements, pedestrian crossing improvements, sidewalk improvements, including installation of new sidewalk and removal and replacement of existing sidewalk, and installation of speed humps and alley bumps. Bidders must be prequalified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and present an IDOT issued "Certificate of Eligibility" with the bid proposal. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. The Evanston City Council also reserves the right to award the contract to an Evanston firm if that firm's bid is within 5% of the low bid.
