Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rutland, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Remove and replace a total of 2,990 linear feet of sidewalk on Allen Street. The existing sidewalk near the Rutland Regional Medical Center is in poor condition. The Allen Street Sidewalk Project proposes to remove all existing sidewalk and install new concrete sidewalk to meet VTrans standard specifications. The project limits start at Allen Street, near Mahoney Avenue, and end on Stratton Road, at the parking lot entrance on the eastern side of the hospital. Refer to attached project exhibit for project limits and proposed sidewalk locations. The total amount of installed sidewalk is 2,990 linear feet. The sidewalk to be removed is composed of concrete and asphalt. New sidewalk to be installed shall be 5 ft wide concrete as specified in these documents. This work must be completed during the 2025 construction season.
