The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this pre-solicitation synopsis for W519TC-25-R-A009. This pre-solicitation synopsis is notice regarding the Repair of the Southwest Patio on Quarters 1 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. This requirement will be a 100% total small business set-aside. This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forthcoming and will have all the necessary documents, including a scope of work. IAW FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. The scope of this project includes the demolition of approximately 1,000 square feet (s.f.) of existing composite concrete on metal deck patio slab and associated stairs and railings. Construction of a new composite patio slab will include an integral drainage plane and be sloped for drainage to the south. Steel structure will be added to the top of existing wide flange beams to achieve the desired slab slope. New stairs, railings, and a handicap accessible ramp will be added to improve access to the building. Contractor questions regarding this solicitation and work contained within the SOW are due to the solicitation point of contact (POC) no later than 10:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, June 25,2025, in order to ensure all questions can be answered and posted for all Offerors' knowledge prior to solicitation closing date and time reflected in box 13 of this document.
