The County is seeking quotes from qualified professional roofing consultant firms to perform the following services. Acceptance of Quotes Dakota County reserves the right to cancel the Request for Quotes at any time or for any reason that is in the best interest of the County. Dakota County also reserves the right to reject quotes based on the evaluation criteria outlined herein, to request clarification of a quote, to accept other than the lowest cost quote, and to negotiate the specified dollar amount, or any portion of that amount. Quote Preparation Dakota County will not be responsible for any costs incurred by applicants in preparing quotes. Independent Price Determination Applicants are held legally responsible for their quotes. Applicants are not to collaborate, for the purpose of restricting competition, with other applicants or competitors in developing quotes. B. Walk the roof areas examining the existing conditions that make up the roofing systems. Provide a comprehensive report on findings of the roof inspections. Provide a scaled roof drawing of each facility. Provide a report on the condition of each roof or roof section. Provide a major repair and replacement cost schedule for each roof or roof section. Make cost effective recommendations to improve roofing systems for both energy conservation and methods to extending the life of existing roofs. Based on observation and if needed, make recommendation on how to improve the annual roofing maintenance program.
