Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.

This project includes the landfill development for the expansion of the Horn Rapids Landfill into Phase 2. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, lining a 1.7 acre leachate pond, lining a 23.6 acre landfill cell, replacing liner on a 0.5 acre leachate pond, leak detection surveys, installation of 10.4 acres of rain sheeting, placement of imported leachate collection gravel layer over 13.2 acre lined landfill floor, placement of native sand operations layer over 10.4 acre lined landfill side slope, installation of leachate collection and conveyance piping, installation of a landfill gas and condensate management system, installation of leachate pond surface evaporators and associated electrical systems, and road surfacing.
