Renovation of a municipal facility in Centerville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of September 12, 2025, a general contractor was awarded and construction began and ended in August 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference The Washington Township Recreation Department is requesting quotes from qualified installers to remove (2) existing Rheem 91-gallon natural gas water heaters model number G91-200-1 at RecPlex East and replace with (2) natural gas Rinnai Demand Duo H-Series, Condensing Hybrid Indoor Commercial Water Heaters, Model CHS199100HCXiN or equivalent. The work for which bids are invited consists of site demolition and preparation and subsequent installation of the proposed Gateway Plaza located between RecPlex East and West buildings and adjacent to Countryside Park. Plaza project includes substantial concrete and roadway/curb construction, installation of owner specified interactive spray fountains, shade structure, outdoor pavilion and ticket booth, and related amenities. Additionally, the scope of work will include drainage and accessibility improvements and repairs to the park's A-Frame shelter. The Washington Township Recreation Department will receive sealed bids for the materials and labor necessary for the Countryside Park Phase 2A: Gateway Plaza and A-Frame Shelter Improvement Project. The Township may choose to not award the bid - and bidders shall hold bids open - until sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner intends that this project be completed by May 1, 2026.
