Site Directions: Proceed 1.75 miles south on 541st Ave from intersection of County Road 5, turn east onto 422nd Street and proceed 0.70 miles, turn north onto gravel access road and proceed 0.50 miles to project site. Est. Completion Date: Aug. 29, 2026 Work will involve modifications to an existing pump station constructed to manage runoff for Nicollet County Ditch (CD) 86A The project improvements include the removal of an existing slide gate on the outlet (interior) of the pumping system vault structure, including removal of exterior (overflow) piping segments, capping of remaining pipe that penetrates exterior vault wall, and installation of a 2" discharge pipe mounted to the cap/cover. Installation of an 8'x8' stainless steel slide gate complete with an electric actuator on box culvert end section located at the inlet (exterior) of the pumping system vault structure and construction of structural support(s) and related modifications to the discharge piping to each of the systems three (3) discharge pumps. A separate construction project at the facility, involving improvements to the pump system control building, is anticipated to be completed in the Fall of 2025. Although conflicts for utilization of site area between the two (2) separate improvement projects are not anticipated, the project work per this contract may be completed commensurate with the pump system control building improvement project. Major work tasks associated with the pump system control building improvement project include: Installation of a post-frame building 19'x20' over the existing fiberglass control building structure Miscellaneous site grading (30 CY of imported materials) to establish positive grading adjacent the control building Relocation of control building HVAC appurtenances and miscellaneous electrical improvements to the exterior of the new control building enclosure
