The City of Cave Spring is accepting sealed bids for a roof replacement project at 13 Rome Road, Cave Spring, Georgia. Contacts may be made to 706-777-3382 for the17,000 square foot project scope. The scope of work includes the installation of a new roof overlayment over the existing roof structure, contingent upon tensile testing results meeting required standards. The total project involves approximately 16,100 square feet of roof area. The successful contractor will be responsible for all materials, labor, equipment, permits, and testing necessary to complete the project to code and within established timelines. Project Scope o Conduct tensile strength testing of the existing roof structure to verify suitability for overlayment. Furnish and install all roofing materials for the complete overlayment of approximately 16,100 sq. ft. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes. Adhere to safety and OSHA regulations throughout the duration of the project. Provide proper site cleanup and disposal of waste material. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
