Renovation of an educational facility in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of but is not limited to: This project will include demolition and disposal of existing membrane gutter lining and accessories, repair/replacement of any degraded underlayment and blocking and installation of new membrane gutter liner, terminations and sheet metal drip edge. Additional work includes selective replacement of damaged clay roof tiles, hip cap grouting, and cleaning of brick masonry. Bids will be received for stipulated sum contract. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents or furnish the required 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. This project has a participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The participation goal of 10% is specified in the Special Condition The Iowa Board of Regents reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
