The City of Groton (the "City") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced engineering and/or consulting firms to provide Engineering Design Services and the preparation and review of construction bids for ADA compliant access to the park from Thames Street to the waterfront located at 343 Thames Street, Groton, CT (the "Project"). Additionally, and priced separately, the City is also seeking Construction Management and Inspection Services during the construction phase. The City reserves the right to not contract for the Construction Management and Inspection Services included in this Request for Proposal. All questions and communications about this Request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to Ms. Leslie Creane, City Planner for the City of Groton, CT (860) 446-4169, CreaneL@cityofgroton-ct.gov and must be received by 4 :00 PM on W e d n e s d a y , May 21, 2025. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
