The scope of work generally includes the removal of existing roof system and installation of approximately 1,500 square EPDM, 3,100 square feet synthetic slate including plywood decking; gutter and downspout replacement; replacement of 24 exterior windows; and replacement of (2) exterior stairs and handrails and two exterior doors. All work shall be constructed according to the Contract Drawings and Specifications which are on file at the office of the Owner and LSSE, 846 Fourth Avenue, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108-1522. The project is being financed through a Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation Fund grant and a RAAC GEDTF grant. Contractor to comply with all applicable conditions set forth by grant program. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 -1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Alleghe-ny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made paya-ble to the Borough of Pleasant Hills. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bid-ding.
