**As of August 4, 2025, project was awarded to the following: General Contract- S.E.T. Inc. $378,496.20 Electrical Contract- Frankl Electric Inc. $47,400.00 with the awarded amount of $425,896.20.** The work generally includes installation of a new booster station and includes approximately 75 feet of waterline, a concrete vault, booster pumps, piping, valves, and other appurtenances. Work also includes furnishing all labor, tools and materials; purchase, deliver and installation of all equipment; earthwork; site work; restoration; and compliance with all permits. Work has been divided into two (2) Contracts, General and Electrical. A. The Standard General Conditions, Special Conditions, General Technical Provisions, Special Requirements, Construction Drawings and other requirements of the Contract Documents apply to the work of this Contract. B. The work covered under these Contract Documents shall be performed under two (2) Contracts: 1. 16-755-91-G (General Contract) 2. 16-755-91-E (Electrical Contract) 1.03 SITE LOCATION A. The work covered under these Contract Documents is located in Kennedy Township, Allegheny County as shown on the project location plan. 1.04 SUMMARY OF WORK A. This project is entitled “WVWA to MATR Emergency Water Interconnect”. B. Without intending to limit and/or restrict the volume of work required by this Contract, the work generally consists of furnishing labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, and transportation, and perform all operations necessary to complete the work as specified and/or indicated on the Construction Drawings and as summarized below: 1. Preliminary Investigation. Supplement existing preliminary investigation of the site as required to provide a sound basis for the planned improvements as described by the Contract Documents. These investigations may include, but not be limited to, utility research, review of existing record drawings, site investigations and others as the Contractor requires to complete the Contract work Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal made in the favor of the Municipal Authority of the Township of Robinson. Only documents obtained directly from the Engineer will be valid at bid opening. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the amounts specified within the Contract Documents will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. The Prevailing Wage Scale is included in these Specifications. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (PWEVA). Adherence to Instructions to Bidders is required. No Bid or any part thereof shall be withdrawn by Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the Bid Opening.
