The intent of this solicitation is to solicit proposals from “qualified firms” for the replacement of water meter dials throughout the City of Arcadia service area. The project scope includes the removal and replacement of existing water meter dials ranging in size from 5/8 inch to 2 inches. This project aims to improve meter accuracy, enhance data collection capabilities, reduce water loss, and modernize metering infrastructure to support long-term operational efficiency. PURPOSE The primary objective of this project is to upgrade the water metering system to AMI technology. This transition will: • Improve the accuracy and reliability of water usage data. • Enhance operational efficiency by eliminating manual and drive-by meter readings. • Provide real-time consumption data for both the utility and customers. • Support water conservation efforts through timely leak detection and consumption monitoring. • Reduce operational costs and improve billing accuracy.
