Renovation of a municipal facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Camp Reinberg Exterior Renovations and Hvac Upgrades Notice is hereby given that the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "District") is soliciting Bids for the above-referenced project. The work includes, but is not limited to: demolition of existing roof and siding; increasing insulation and providing new roofing and siding; demolition of the existing gas fired heater in the Dining Hall; providing new high efficiency electric heating and cooling for the office and Dining Hall; adding new make-up air units to serve the kitchen exhausts; updating and upgrading electrical service to the site; removing the Dining Hall building from the existing Pump House and relocating it to the newer Electrical Building; and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications found below. Question Deadline 05/21/2025 at 5:00 PM CT All inquiries must be directed in writing and emailed to the District's Director of Procurement as follows: Email: fpd.purchasing@cookcountyil.gov 24 % MBE participation goal and a 10 % WBE participation goal * FAILURE TO ATTEND A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF THE BID. PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBCONTRACTOR PERSONNEL MAY NOT ACT AS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR BIDDER'S REPRESENTATIVE FOR PURPOSES OF ATTENDANCE. Work shall be substantially completed within 270 calendar days ; The Contract shall end within 180 calendar days from the Substantial Completion date.
