Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hamden, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Award date: June 16 Bidders must be Certified Set-aside Contractors if their bid is less than or equal to one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). Bidders must be DAS-Prequalified Contractors if their bid is greater than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). Completion Time Allowed: Three Hundred and Sixty Five (365) Calendar Days. Contract to be awarded on or about June 16th 2025 with a start date on or about July 1st 2025. Liquidated Damages: Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per calendar day. Assembly of a cabin kit as a new visitors' center/bathroom building at Sleeping Giant State Park. Project includes but is not limited to earthwork, utilities, concrete work, septic system installation, assembly of Conestoga Log Cabin Kit, electrical and plumbing work. The Conestoga Kit has been purchased by DEEP and is being procured by the Department, please see Appendix B Attachment 7 for the list of materials provided.
