Renovation of an educational facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of July 18,2025, the project was awarded to Krohn's Excavating LLC but the awarded amount is not available.** Bangor Public Schools (BPS) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide labor, equipment, and materials for the pouring of a cement slab. The slab will be 90 feet wide, 60 feet long, and at least 6 inches deep, meeting the specifications as outlined in the attached minimum requirements document. The contractor will also be responsible for the removal of dirt, preparation of sub-levels, and providing anchor points as per the attached specifications. The contractor is expected to collaborate with other vendors involved in the project, particularly regarding the scope, scheduling, and project meetings. The work must be completed in compliance with all applicable regulations and specifications to ensure safety and durability The selected contractor will be responsible for: 1. Site Preparation: o Remove dirt and debris from the designated area for the slab. o Excavate and prepare the sub-levels as required, ensuring a stable base for the slab installation. 2. Slab Installation: o Pour a cement slab with dimensions of 90 feet in width, 60 feet in length, and at least 6 inches in depth. o The slab must meet all necessary specifications outlined in the attached document, including but not limited to strength, thickness, and surface finishing. o Apply a finishing spraylock as specified in the minimum standards document. 3. Anchor Points: o Install anchor points as specified in the attached minimum specifications document. o Ensure proper placement and alignment of anchor points to meet the project's needs. 4. Coordination and Scheduling: o The contractor must cooperate with other vendors on-site, aligning their work with the overall project schedule. o Attendance at regular project meetings, coordinated by BPS, will be required to ensure timely progress and resolution of any issues.
