Route 287, Route 95 To CR 529 (Stelton Road), Contract No 000243940, Pavement Preservation, Township of Edison, Boroughs of South Plainfield and Metuchen, Middlesex County; Federal Project No: 0287(369), UPC No: 243940, PE No: 2207030, CE No: 1231530 Estimated Completion Date on 11/20/2026 DBE Goals for this Project 4% Estimated Range between $10,000,001 to $20,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2a, 3, or 5 The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 586,400 Lf Traffic Stripes, Latex, 6" 29,702 Sy Hma Milling, 3" or Less 460,911 Sy Micro Milling 355,523 Lf Polymerized Joint Adhesive 3,805 T Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5 M Surface Course 26,571 T Ultra-high Performance Thin Overlay 391,000 Lf Traffic Stripes, 6" Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d) Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning The Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above. DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33 NJDOT: 110 - Pavement Preservation - Route 287 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
