Construction of the Ojai Valley Sanitary District's 2025 Spot Repair Project located in the public right-of-way and District-owned easements in various locations in the City of Ojai and in Unincorporated Ventura County, California The Work includes the following: Construction of two lateral spot repairs and four cleanout to manhole conversions. Ojai Valley Sanitary District (OVSD or District) hereby invites sealed Bids for constructing the 2025 Spot Repair Project in accordance with the District's Contract Documents including its Specifications No. 2025-09. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check or by a Bidder's bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders (the "Bidder's Security") as a guaranty. The Bidder that is awarded the Contract (the "Successful Bidder") shall be required to obtain the insurance required by the Contract Documents and to furnish a faithful performance bond and a payment bond which shall each be at least one-hundred percent (100%) of the total amounts payable by the terms of the Contract. Bidders are reminded that they must comply with the provisions of the California Labor Code pertaining to the payment of prevailing wage rates (Labor Code 1770 et seq.). Each Bidder shall be licensed by the California State License Board as a Class A General Engineering Contractor at the time of submitting the Bid or the Bid will be rejected. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless they are registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
