The Work generally includes but is not limited to: Pavement Preservation, Asphalt Patching, Concrete Improvements, and Paving. Approximately 42,800 sqft of 3" Asphalt Concrete and 18,400 sqft of Chip Seal The work consists of preventive maintenance operations that include, but are not limited to, pavement and base preparation, smooth surface chip seal, pavement patching and crack sealing on local roads, pavement markings, and traffic control. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the Agency in an amount not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and faithful performance bond each in the full amount of the Contract price, and insurance with certificates and endorsements of insurance, as provided in the Contract Documents. The required bonds must be provided only by a surety insurer who is admitted to do business by and in good standing with the California Department of Insurance.
