The scope of work consists of the installation of 23 new security cameras and troubleshooting 3 existing security cameras at Franklin Elementary School. Additionally, 3 mini-dome attic stock cameras shall be provided by the selected vendor. The vendor shall furnish and install a new recording server for cameras to replace existing. The selected vendor will also be responsible for the programming of all the cameras in Milestone. The project will require asbuilts in the form of configuration files, and a markup of final camera locations on the map. The project will require coordination with the OUSD Tech Services team and school staff. This Contract is not subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. The prospective bidder must currently be on our certified contractors list. The Contract Time shall be ninety (90) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. Bids must be accompanied by a bidders bond, cashiers not check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. All District public work construction projects ("Project(s)") contracted by the District funds. The District may exclude, at its discretion, up to 5% of all capital funds available to the District for its Projects during the term of this Agreement. It is expected that the application of this 5% exclusion will not disproportionately affect any one craft. This exclusion will be reviewed by the Parties on an annual basis as requested by either Party or during an agenized JAC meeting. The items of work indicated below propose modifications to, substitutions for, additions to and/or deletions from the various parts of the Work specified in other Sections of the Specifications. The acceptance or rejection of any of the alternates is strictly at the option of the Owner subject to Owner's acceptance of Contractor's stated prices contained in this Proposal.
