Scope of Work The Melbourne Airport Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Authority, Airport, or MLB") is soliciting responses of sealed bids from qualified Bidders for land clearing management services to three (3) sections of wooded land, per specifications in Appendix A: Specifications. The Authority seeks to award services for one (1) year with the options of three (3), one (1) year renewals. A statement of Inspection Form indicating site visit must be included with the proposal. A Public Construction Bond (Performance and Payment Bond) in a sum equal to 100% of the amount of the Contract awarded, will be required prior to execution of contract. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of proposals, for a period of ninety (90) days. The work performed under this Contract shall be governed by the Federal Contract Provisions set forth in the Contract Documents, which include, but are not limited to, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontractor participation, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and compliance with Federal Wage and Hour requirements (Davis-Beacon Act).
