The work identified in this contract will be performed in Tillamook County, in the unincorporated community of Neskowin, on and adjacent to S Beach Road. The project consists of the construction of a new water mains, and includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and testing for the complete construction of: Approximately 400 linear feet of 6" C900 water main, 2,850 linear feet of 8" C900 and HDPE water main, and 600 linear feet of 10" HDPE water main (approximately 1,526 linear feet of Open Trench Excavation and 700 linear feet of Trenchless HDD installation). The Contractor should expect to encounter significant rocky material in the trench line, including rock excavation in the form of boulders greater than 48" in diameter and solid bedrock up to the estimated quantities shown in the bid schedule. The contractor shall be responsible for supplying all valves, fittings, pigging ports, hydrants, and appurtenances as shown on the plans and identified in the specifications.
