City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform sidewalk repairs. The City of Watertown is seeking to award a one-year contract with two (2) additional one-year renewals, solely at the discretion of the City. The City will provide written confirmation of renewal at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the contract period. Bidder Mass DOT Prequalification classification in “Sidewalk Repairs” at the appropriate dollar threshold is required. The estimated value of this contract is $599,910 for a one-year period and a total estimated contract value of $1,799,730 including the two one-year extensions options Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond, Treasurer’s Check, Cash, Cashier’s Check or Certified Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The City of Watertown reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality contained therein, and to award the contract as determined to be in the best interest of the City.
