The Project includes the following Work: Schedule 1 - Sewer Main Replacement: replacement of approximately 8,400 lf of sewer main and associated appurtenances and Schedule 2 - Lift Station: installation of a new East Frontage Road Lift Station and associated appurtenances. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Phase 3C Wastewater Collection System Improvements. A single construction contract will be awarded. Separate awards will not be made for the individual schedules. Contractor(s) and any of the Contractor's subcontractors bidding on this project should be aware that they will be required to comply with the Crow Tribe Workforce Protection Act ("WPA"), CLB 09-01, as amended by CLB 10-04 (April 2010 Session), and the associated Tribal Employment Rights Regulations of the Crow Tribe (TERO Regulations), adopted June 2011, both as amended for this project. Copies of these documents are included in the Project Manual. In regard to subcontracting, per the TERO Regulations, Section 3.4(b)(1), each Bidder must submit, as part of its bid, an Indian subcontract plan showing, for each subcontract it intends to enter into, the name of the firm, whether or not it is Indian-certified, and, if not certified, why the Contractor did not select an Indian-certified firm, and the projected subcontract price, as provided for in Part 1, section 1.5(b) of the TERO Regulations. The subcontract price information for each Bidder shall be made available to the TERO office and shall be used to ensure that a Contractor has not engaged in bid shopping as a means to discourage Indian-certified firms or to force them to accept a subcontract at an unreasonably low price. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, and Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
