A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to furnish all labor, supervision and equipment for the construction of a Transmission line as per LES Specifications T-26-01. Scope Of Work to Be Performed Reconductoring L1719 and L1730 transmission lines as shown on the construction drawings. The L1719 transmission line consists of 1.5 miles of single circuit lines and OPGW. The L1730 transmission line consists of 0.6 miles of single circuit lines and OPGW. The new phase conductors, slack spans, and jumpers are TS GOULD 1027 28/1 ACCC, an advanced conductor manufactured by TS Conductor. Shield wires are 96 fiber OPGW. Phase conductors will be supported by polymer insulators. The corridor width is limited, and work will generally have to be completed from the arterial roadway utilizing lane closures, often in congested areas. The contractor is expected to contain all work within the street ROW and LES easement limits. All work is expected to fall within the dates provided on the Completion Schedule. 115kV L1719 - WO: 5034797: Reconductoring 1.5 miles of transmission line. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Standard Construction Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; 3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M.
