Pre-Qualification Notice Date: September 22, 2024 . Anticipated Bid Release Date: June 18, 2025. AHCB has been selected as the CMAR for the Satellite 1 Concourse Project at OHare International Airport. Bid Package 06, all construction inside the Airport Operations Area , includes the following: Trade Package 20: Airfield Paving: This trade package consists of the construction of the taxi lane and apron pavements for Satellite 1 and associated TAP improvements. The scope of work includes grading, installation of subbase, drainage, underdrains, and asphalt and concrete (flexible and rigid) pavements. Trade Package 21: Satellite 1 - Skylights: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the skylights located in Satellite 1. Trade Package 22: Satellite 1 - Elevators / Escalators: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the elevators and escalators. Trade Package 23: Satellite 1 - Roofing: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the PVC roofing for the Satellite Concourse. The roofing system encompasses approximately 225,000-square feet of the building facade. Trade Package 24: Satellite 1 - Façade Maintenance: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the facade maintenance equipment, fixtures, and appurtenances. Trade Package 25: Tunnel - Structural Precast: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the structural precast concrete wall panels and beams for the Consolidated Tunnel.
