Reference Number 0000386753 The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking a qualified Construction Manager/ General Contractor to provide construction remodel services for the Human Resources, Legal, and Municipal Court Offices located within Centennial Hall. Anticipated Notification of Award June 5, 2025 Question Deadline 05/20/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % The City of Steamboat Springs expects that the successful proponent has carefully examined the plans prepared by Wagner Architects. The office spaces shall be constructed per plans & specs and adhere to all local authorities having jurisdiction, Community Development Code, and applicable sections of the Building Code as referenced on the contract documents. The Contractor will be responsible for but not limited to obtaining the required building permits, Inspections, demolition, waste removal, material procurement, construction, management of subcontractors, interfacing with city staff members, and mitigating any noise, dust, and or any indoor air quality concerns. Upon approval of the budget, City staff will obtain the required permits through the City Planning Department. The contractor will be responsible for the cost of the required county building permits as noted above. The scope will consist of demolishing existing carpet, wall base, walls as noted, millwork, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, door frames, doors, and hardware (hardware to be salvaged). New construction will include walls, millwork, carpet & base, ceiling tiles, ceiling grid modifications, doors, frames & hardware, lighting, mechanical, and the potential for a new Municipal Court Office. Please note that the Municipal Court Office shall be listed as an add alternate on the required price form. Contractor shall exclude costs for any new furniture. Contractor shall exclude costs to remove and relocate existing furniture.
