The City of Steamboat Springs expects that the successful proponent has carefully examined the plans prepared by Steamboat Engineering and Design (SEAD) and has provided an all-inclusive bid to successfully complete these two enclosures by October 31, 2025. The structure(s) shall be constructed per plans & specs and adhere to all local authorities having jurisdiction, Community Development Code, and applicable sections of the Building Code as referenced on the contract documents. The Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of the dumpster enclosure described in the attached plans. The contractor will also be responsible for all demolition and waste disposal to accommodate this enclosure. Upon approval of the budget, City staff will acquire the required permits through the City Planning Department, the Contractor will be responsible for the required County building permits. The successful candidate shall include in their proposal all safety, coordination with local businesses, coordination of all inspections including third-party material testing, traffic control and security to protect the public for the duration of the project.
