Reference Number 0000380513 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Steamboat Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified professional contractors to provide sediment removal & comprehensive inspection services for two (2) potable water storage tanks and two (2) clearwells within the City of Steamboat Springs public drinking water distribution system. This work is required in order for the City maintain compliance with the Colorado Department of Health & Environment (CDPHE) Section 11.28 Storage Tank Rule Regulation No. 11 (5 CCR 1002-11). The Contractor will be responsible for completing all work in strict accordance with the Storage Tank Rule and providing all deliverables required for compliance. It is expected that all work shall be completed while the tanks/clearwells are full and in operation. Proposers are cautioned not to contact other City staff during this RFP process. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. Responses to all questions shall be issued in the form of an addendum no later than 5:00 PM, April 8, 2025. The contractor may commence cleaning upon issuance of a notice to proceed. Work shall be completed by October 30, 2025. The City of Steamboat Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids and proposals, to waive informalities or irregularities, in the proposals received, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, conditional or qualified proposals, and to accept the bid/proposal which, in the City's judgment, best serves the interest of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens.
