Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ormond Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of July 17,2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project is located at Ormond Beach Environmental Discovery Center at 601 Division Avenue in Ormond Beach. The proposed 8' foot wide concrete trail (270' lineal feet) will be on the north side of the existing retention pond and connect to the existing sidewalk near the Discovery Center. From the east end of the concrete trail an 8' foot wide wood boardwalk system (820 lineal feet) will snake through the woods and will connect to Division Avenue. This boardwalk will line up with the existing stripped crosswalk and existing southern boardwalk trail, see drawing sheet 2 of 4. A new concrete ADA curb transition will be installed per the plans. This project will be in strict accordance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and per the approved plans, specifications and Invitation to Bid. All work done on the sidewalk improvements project must adhere to the Heavy Wage Determination, FL 20250137, see CDBG Requirements in the project manual. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual.
