Site work for a municipal facility in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The work generally includes. Demolition of existing, furnishment and installation of new backstop and fencing. Project will commence on September 1, 2025, with an end date of October 3, 2025. This is a Prevailing Wage schedule project and the contractor, and all sub-contractors are required to pay the prevailing wage for DuPage/Cook Counties for the life of the project and are responsible for keeping up with any changes. Certified payroll is required on this project by both general and sub-contractors. It is the contractor's/bidder's responsibility to field verify locations and conditions and to report any discrepancy to the project manager in writing (Steven Paterkiewicz, Parks Supervisor, e-mail: spaterkiewicz@epd.org). A bid security in the amount of 10% of the base bid will be required to accompany bid proposals for this project. The successful contractor must provide the required proof of insurance within ten days of the award of the contract. The Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder.
