The Ownerreserves the right to waive any irreg u lar i ties and toaccept any or reject all bids when, in the opin ion of theOwner, such action will serve the best inter est of theOwner. A general description of this project is as follows (not to be taken as a complete description or extent of the work): Project consists of a new restroom facility including plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. New work includes but is not limited to: masonry, wood framing, metal roofing, interior finishes including drywall and painting, and site utilities. 1. If identified in the bid form, the Contractor shall provide, erect, maintain and remove temporary fencing required to protect all existing vegetation identified by the Contract Documents and/or the Owner's Representative. Provide root pruning of existing trees that are affected by the execution of the Work. 2. The Contractor shall be responsible for any violation as established by this section and shall be subject to the fines as stated in the Schedule of Fines. 3. Construction shall not commence before completion of Logistics Plan and construction schedule and Owner's representative approval of protective barrier in accordance with standard tree protecting detail provided by the City of Elmhurst.
