KSD - Summer Paving 2025 The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunities to submit bids, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, handicap, or national origin in consideration for an award. This project is subject to the Benton County prevailing wage rate requirements. In accordance with state law, bidders are required to have a current Washington State contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid. This surety shall be forfeited in event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond. The Kennewick School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, and to waive bidding informalities.
