The Contractor(s) shall provide all required equipment with qualified, experienced operators, crews, fuel, tools, maintenance, mobilization, supervision, disposal, and all incidentals as necessary to provide incidental asphalt patching on primary and secondary roadways. The work will consist of, but not be limited to, removal of deteriorated pavement, milling, patching, surface preparation, bituminous pavement patching, joint patching and disposal. Pavement patching operations shall generally be limited to 500 feet in length. VDOT will make this determination at each location. Work shall be performed on an as needed basis on both primary and secondary routes. All work shall be performed under VDOT supervision. VDOT will provide plant mix (bituminous concrete), liquid tack and any needed stone materials. VDOT may require multiple crews to work simultaneously within the lot awarded, or simultaneously in each lot if awarded both lots. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of 7/11/2025 through one year with 2 one-year optional renewal periods.
