The project consists of new construction of public restrooms (with changing areas) adjacent to the splashpad, playground and walking trials, to include construction of slab on grade foundation and construction of new interior and exterior finishes. The scope of work is the building footprint and 5 feet beyond that footprint for utility rough-ins. Site Development and connection of utilities will be performed under a separate contract. A Bid Security is required in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Bid Security must be in the form of an AIA A310 Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Owner. Each Bidder shall submit evidence of bond ability for the entire value of the work in the form of a Performance and Payment Bond. The successful bidder must execute a Performance and Payment Bond as part of the construction contract with a surety company licensed to do business in Virginia.
