The City of Kingsland (hereinafter "Owner") is seeking sealed proposals from certified and qualified General Contractors for the improvement and paving of sections of Al Gay Road and Middle School Road, totaling approximately 1,600 lf to include removal and placement of culverts necessary for proper drainage. The work to be done includes furnishing all materials, equipment and labor. The successful Proposer, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. The work requires site preparation and grading, preparation of road base, removal of existing drainage structures, erosion control measures, new culvert installation, sub-base and base installation, hot mix asphalt paving , curb and gutter, striping, traffic control measures and other miscellaneous items/work.
