As of July 16, 2025. project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The project includes a new dumpster enclosure in the Village'sdowntown public parking lot. The dumpster enclosure is approximately 24' wide by 30' long. Proposal 1 is for aCMU (block) styleenclosure with dual 10 foot front gates and a single 6-foot backgate. The interior of the enclosure will be restored with concretepavement and the exterior will be restored with asphalt to matchthe existing pavement. A small section of curb and gutter will beremoved and replaced. The bid alternate is for a PVC board style enclosure with thesame dimensions as Proposal No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certifiedcheck or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payableto the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contractand bond withinseven (7) days after the award of the contract. The certifiedcheck will be returned to the bidder as soon as bond and contractis signed, and if after seven (7) days the bidder shall fail to do so,the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner asliquidated damages.Performance and Payment Bonds for the full contract amountshall be required from the successful Bidder.Prequalification of bidders will not be required.No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actualdate of the opening thereof.Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimumwages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with localwages. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or notwaive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept anyproposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of theOwner.
