Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Marlborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of New Marlborough, acting through the Board of Selectmen, will accept sealed bids to Resurface Various Roads-2026. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as pavement-surfacing for the project will be required. The project will consist of reclaiming and resurfacing Mill River Southfield Road and Lumbert Cross Road. The project will require 2,352 tons of binder. All materials and workmanship are to meet the latest MassDOT specifications. The contract contains a price adjustment provision for liquid asphalt mixture which will be determined at the bid opening. The Select Board is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid, and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
