County of Montgomery is requesting Bids for Tower Structural Modification Montgomery County is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for structural reinforcement of an existing 140-foot Rohn SSV self-supporting communications tower located at the Montgomery County Public Safety Facility at 200 Clark Drive, Fultonville, NY 12072. The tower is used for critical emergency communications and this project will address structural modifications necessary to maintain and enhance performance per engineering analysis. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to complete the following modifications to the existing tower as detailed in the April 2025 Armor Tower engineering report: Replace diagonal bracing from 40' to 80' Install secondary horizontal bracing from 0' to 60' Ensure all modifications comply with TIA-222-H standards Perform all work per guidance provided in Armor Tower drawings and specifications (reference file 25011) Coordinate all pre- and post-modification inspections with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and/or third-party engineer Secure all required building permits prior to the start of work All work must be completed within 60 days of contract execution, weather permitting, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing Montgomery County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in the bidding process.
