Project construction may start immediately following approval / selection by The Meade County Commissioners. Substantial completion shall be completed within 12 weeks from notice of award. The project is approximately 20,500sf and predominately involves the removal of the existing PVC membrane and any damaged rigid insulation. New construction involves replacement of damaged insulation, recovery board and PVC roofing membrane. The existing formed metal parapet cap is to be maintained and protected during construction. Successful bidder shall furnish an approved Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. All bids shall be held firm for thirty days after the bid opening. Meade County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities and informalities in the bids received and to accept any responsible bid. Written notice of the award of contract will be given within thirty days.
