Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Somerset, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed Bids for a paved extension to an existing paved parking lot at Parnell Prairie Preserve Park located at 1823 45th Street, Somerset, WI 54025. The area to be paved has been excavated and prepped with class 5 lime rock. It will require the successful bidder to: 1. Sawcut 83 feet along the eastern edge of the existing parking lot 2. Provide final grading of the area to be paved, ensuring drainage to the northeast corner of the parking lot. (Lot was prepped in fall of 2024 with a minimum of 6" class 5 base) 3. Provide and install asphalt 60 feet by 83 feet with 3" Hot Mix Asphalt (12.5mm) Mix (1 lift) Bidders' proof of insurance must be submitted to the Town upon acceptance of the Bid. Contractors on the project shall be required to comply with the laws of the State of Wisconsin Work to be completed by August 1, 2025, or date negotiated with Town Board upon acceptance of the Bid. The Town of Somerset reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the contract in the best interests of the Town.
