Approximate major quantities and general descriptions for the Work include: Excavation Common CY 3,906 Borrow CY 1,905 Base Aggregate Dense TON 4,480 Asphaltic Surface TON 1,630 Concrete Curb & Gutter LF 478 Concrete Sidewalk SF 2,826 Restoration SY 11,000 Permanent Signing SF 170 Pavement Marking, Transverse LF 450 Sawing Asphalt LF 800 Wall Cast-in-Place Cantilever Landscape CY 16 Wall Modular Block Gravity Landscape SF 2,750 Traffic Control EACH 1 Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The DBE goal for this project is discretionary. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with the Federal Government. The Village of Somerset reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Village. Question Deadline 09/22/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
