The Project includes following work on Main Street from 100 feet west of the Spring St. intersection to the railroad bridge (400 feet west of Plourde Dr. intersection. The work includes the following approximate quantities for construction: Preparatory and micro-surfacing work 14,000 SY Marking Stop Line Paint 12 inch 120 LF Marking Line 8-inch White 200 LF Marking Line 4-inch Double Yellow 3,600 LF Marking Arrow Paint 1 EA Marking Word Paint 1 EA Marking Diagonal Paint 12-inch Yellow 65 LF Marking Crosswalk Paint Block Style 24-inch 450 LF No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
